This is based on a true life story from ‘My Mother’s Diary”. In my Mum’s diary are many stories and thoughts. Stories and lessons learned from over five decades on earth, over thirty years of marriage with a youthful heart. I believe these stories would be of immense blessing to you as it was and still is to me. Join me as I unfold these stories of love, marriage, and hope for a greater future…
I was at a meeting with some other women when the question was asked, ‘What makes your husband trip for you’. We all answered the question one after the other; fashion sense, good cooking, the ability to satisfy the husband’s inner room desires and the list went on. Finally, we concluded never to stop doing those things.
Do you really think those things kept our husbands? Now I’m asking you my prized reader? 🙂 Do you really think so?
The truth is, they don’t. ‘Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.’ Psalms 127:1 NLT
Some are out of marriage today, not because they stopped doing those things but because human beings are dynamic! All things are subject to change, but God remains unchanging throughout eternity and so is his word.

Whatever we do, we cannot stop the raging wind and storms of live from coming but Jesus assures us that if we can build our house on his word, our house will stand strong and indestructible.
‘So, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.’ Matthew 7:24-25 AMPC
If you want an enduring marriage? Build it on the Word of God. Your home will not fall in Jesus name.
