Two teenage boys – Ben and Dave, returned from school one day, and immediately settled down to play computer games. Their father, before he left home in the morning, gave them instructions to clean and arrange his study, when they return from school in the afternoon.
When they returned, nanny Tommy reminded them of daddy’s instructions, but the younger boy told nanny not to worry. He said after all, daddy does not come back until late evening. After a few hours, nanny came again to remind them, and they said they will do the cleaning later. The worried Nanny asked the boys, what if he comes now?
Coincidentally, their father had attended a meeting outside his office that day, and finished earlier. So he decided to come home, instead of going back to the office. The boys were engrossed in the game, to the extent that they did not even notice when their father came in.
Offcourse it was too late to do a hurried job in arranging their rooms. They had their share of punishment and were grounded for weeks. As their Dad sternly dictated their punishment;
The younger boy remembered Nanny’s question “What if daddy comes now?” and wished he had obeyed.
Jesus left the message of ‘Good News’ before departing the earth. This good news also called gospel, has been preached and received by many.
Some received the gospel and were sorrowful, like the rich man in Matthew 19:16-22. A number received the message and like Naman, “went away in a rage” in 2King 5:10-12. Many are still postponing the day of their salvation.
Many, want to know what Jesus can give them while a proportion want to “enjoy” sin and in so doing, be in bondage to the devil. On the other hand, some want to have “enough” before accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
It is risky to delay the day of salvation. Do it now, cause we do not know the day and time each person will leave the earth. It is time to know Jesus Christ. Don’t wait for the Father to come before you do. If you would like to give your life to Christ, please say the prayer below
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus Name.

Thank you for sharing this timely reminder of the importance of salvation! With all that has gone on these past weeks, we are reminded that the Master can request for our souls in a twinkle of an eye! What better way to spend eternity than with Jesus?!
It’s my pleasure to spread God’s message. You’re absolutely right. May the events in these past weeks serve as a constant reminder that our live on earth is like a loan from God and he can choose to collect it whenever he wishes.
